Why hardware is quoted, not priced online.
A 2-bedroom condo, a 4,000 sqft house on a corner lot, and a Bear Lake cabin all need different things. Posting one price wouldn't be honest — it'd either overcharge the small home or under-protect the big one.

Square footage, number of doors and windows, garage and outbuildings, whether you have an existing system, how many cameras you want where, and what kind of alerts you'd like.

A line-item quote with hardware counts, the install fee, and the monthly service price. No "package upgrades" you didn't ask for. No surprise add-ons after the install.
What it includes
Hardware, professional install, app setup, user training, and the first month of service. After that, monitoring is month-to-month — you can pause, change, or cancel anytime.

If you'd rather not pay the install cost up front, we offer optional financing on hardware. It's the one place we do have a contract — a financing agreement for the hardware itself, paid over a set term (typically 24–60 months depending on the package).
Important to be clear: that financing term is separate from your monitoring service. Your monitoring is still month-to-month and you can change or cancel it independently. We mention this because plenty of national security companies blur the two together — we'd rather you know exactly what you're signing.
Most customers skip financing and just pay for the hardware once at install. We'll show you both options on the quote so you can pick.

What does a typical home actually cost?
For a 3-bedroom Wasatch Front home, most quotes land in the $1,200–$2,500 range for hardware + install (cameras, alarm panel, sensors), then either $20–25/mo self-monitor or $40+/mo pro monitoring. Bigger homes, more cameras, and commercial jobs go up from there.
Are there activation, setup, or dispatch fees?
No. Install fee is included in the quote. There's no activation fee, no per-event dispatch fee, and no fee when our team drives back out during your first year of service.
Do you require a long-term contract?
Monitoring is month-to-month once you own the equipment — you can change or cancel anytime. If you choose financing on the hardware, that's a separate financing contract for the equipment only, not for the monitoring service.
Can I cancel monitoring and keep the cameras?
Yes. Once you own the equipment, it's yours. You can self-monitor from the app for $20–25/mo or cancel monitoring entirely — the cameras keep working, you just won't have dispatch.
Do you price-match other security companies?
We don't price-match line-for-line, but if you've got a competing quote we'll look at it and tell you honestly where we can match and where we can't. Most of the time we find a national company is including hardware you don't need — that's where the savings come from.
What about businesses?
Commercial pricing is always custom — number of locations, square footage, hours of coverage, and access control all change the number. Same model though: starting-at monthly + a hardware quote, month-to-month on monitoring.
